wordlet ("we", "us", or "our") is a vocabulary learning app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information from Google, including your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this to create and manage your account.
When you use wordlet, we store the content you create — vocabulary decks, cards, study progress, and settings — so your data syncs across devices.
How we use your information
- Provide and maintain the wordlet service
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure
- Sync your decks and study progress across devices
- Improve the app and fix issues
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-party services
Sign-in is handled by Google OAuth. Google's use of your information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. wordlet is hosted on Cloudflare; their privacy practices are described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings in the app or on the web. You may also contact us at the email below if you need help.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children's privacy
wordlet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
